2. Description of Service

LearnOut is a peer-to-peer marketplace that connects teachers with learners for in-person educational experiences. We provide the platform but do not directly provide the classes or experiences listed.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Teacher Responsibilities

Teachers on LearnOut agree to:

• Provide accurate information about qualifications and experience
• Maintain appropriate insurance for activities with inherent risks
• Obtain all necessary licenses and certifications for regulated activities
• Ensure a safe learning environment for all students
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Respond to student inquiries within 48 hours
• Honor scheduled classes and cancellation policies
• Report any safety incidents to LearnOut immediately

5. Student Responsibilities

Students on LearnOut agree to:

• Provide accurate information when booking classes
• Arrive on time and prepared for classes
• Follow teacher instructions and safety guidelines
• Treat teachers and other students with respect
• Understand and accept any inherent risks associated with activities

6. Assumption of Risk

Many activities on LearnOut involve inherent risks. By participating in any class, you acknowledge and assume all risks associated with the activity. Teachers are required to disclose known risks, and students should review this information carefully before booking.

7. Payments and Refunds

Payments are processed through our secure payment provider. Refund policies are set by individual teachers and displayed on each class listing. LearnOut takes a service fee from each transaction.

8. Limitation of Liability

LearnOut is a platform connecting teachers and students. We are not responsible for:

• The quality or safety of classes offered by teachers
• Injuries or damages that occur during classes
• Disputes between teachers and students
• Teacher qualifications or certifications
• Any losses arising from the use of our platform

9. Intellectual Property

All content on LearnOut, including logos, text, and graphics, is owned by LearnOut or its licensors. Teachers retain ownership of their class content but grant LearnOut a license to display and promote their listings.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may also delete your account at any time.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of LearnOut will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of LearnOut after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes.
